Prior to founding JZ Productions in 2012, Josh worked in Television News. He worked his way through several positions during his eight formative years at WDIO-TV, a television station based in Duluth, Minnesota. Three years were spent as a News Reporter and Anchor and Weekend Sports Anchor and Reporter before taking on his final role as Sports Director.

After years of doing live television, Josh offers live streaming among his list of services. He can livestream any event which includes church services, weddings, and funerals.

In 2012, Josh began working freelance and offered large & small companies and individuals alike the opportunity to gain exposure with his expertise in videography and editing. Josh’s background in shooting and editing video, producing and writing lends itself to his ultimate goal – telling your story. With his casual, personal approach to interviews and the right questions, Josh puts his subjects at ease and helps to encourage the perfect soundbite. His quick editing turn around is enough to beat the news cycle!

The JZ Productions Portfolio ranges from high level corporate promotions and marketing materials to instructional training videos for healthcare staff. He has worked across several community based industries including hotels, schools and restaurants. His work is also well suited to annual award ceremony highlights, weddings and other large scale social events.
